GS2 and GS3 are glicose sensores, it’s a small, discreet and water-resistant sensor is worn on the back of your upper arm and lasts for up to 14 days whilst you shower, bathe, swim, exercise or play. After this time, you’ll need to replace it with a new one.
-GS2: with active alarms will alert you whenever you pass your defined glucose limits.
-GS3:its always receiving info every 5min from the sensor without you having to scan it.
In some countries the GS3 it’s still not available therefore will be using the GS2.
Getting started with the FreeStyle Libre sensor
Start using the FreeStyle Libre system in 3 easy steps

Apply the sensor
The FreeStyle Libre sensor is applied on to the back of the upper arm with a simple, disposable device called an applicator.
When the sensor is applied, a thin, flexible and sterile fibre is inserted just under the skin, It is held in place with a small adhesive pad

Scan sensor
To obtain a glucose reading, simply perform a quick, painless3 1-second scan of the app over the sensor.
This scan gives you more information than monitoring with blood glucose test strips, without the need for finger pricks!.

Get reading
Each scan over the sensor gives a current glucose reading, the last 8 hours of glucose history, and a trend arrow showing if glucose is going up, down, or changing slowty.
FreeStyle Libre is the only factory-calibrated glucose monitoring system. No fingerpick calibration required and gives accurate data. Painless and easy to apply. A very thin filament sits just under the skin to measure interstitial fluid.

Video of working -from the moment to patch the sensor to measuring blood sugar levels
The FreeStyle Libre sensor continuously measures your glucose levels, day and night, without the need for finger pricking. It measures glucose levels through a small sensor — the size of two stacked quarters — applied to the back of your upper arm. It provides real-time glucose readings for up to 10 days, both day and night.
